But, hey you guys are all smarter than me. That's why you are showing off your intelligence by posting about committing a federal crime on a public forum. Just like other criminals who get busted for boasting about their exploits like storming the capitol.

It's a federal law in all 50 states regardless of emissions or inspection. You could be fined up to $10,000 dollars.

But hey, no one who works for, or has family members who work for the EPA could possibly be on these forums as they must all be out hugging trees. Or. Maybe they are watching and have already reached out to your isp based on your ip address. Hmmmm.

Good luck.. because patriots say "f the environment and everyone else. Our forefathers died so that we could be free to screw over our fellow citizens, pollute the country, and be selfish tools".
If we wanted your personal opinion we'd ask for it. I've tore into many engines and seen the damage caused by things like crankcase breathers routed back into the intake and cats plugging up exhaust and causing excessive heat. Crankcase breather mods are even more necessary on boosted engines.
Emissions mandates not only rob hp but mpg as well. They carbon the $hi+ out of combustion chambers which causes pre-ignition and detonation. These are well documented facts and mods such as those discussed here are discussed and done on every vehicle forum there is.

AS for storming the capital...we did just that in Madison, WI back in the 80s to protest a helmet law. Rode in on our Harleys by the thousands and took over the whole capital area. We weren't leaving until we were heard. Guess what? IT WORKED! That law was repealed. Hasn't been one there since either and never will be. Ain't democracy great?
I did my time and served and watched friends die preserving these freedoms. So I could care less about your opinion or your baseless threats and I`m done with you. Stay out of my threads and don't respond to my posts.

Gunner: you are becoming an obscene pain in the ***. Your hammer is wearing out your one nail . . . IMHO opinion. Just about all of us have served . . . Now if you really want to help us out, talk your legislature into repealing ethanol to keep your Iowa corn farmers funded.

I'm not the one that brought up serving and I don't run ethanol. We have 4 stations in town that sell 91 and 93 octane pure gas.
If you don't like it, don't read it because I'm not the least bit interested in treehugger responses. I made that clear from the start yet some seem to want argue the merits of EPA mandates and make ridiculous threats of jail anyway. I won't tolerate it. Plain and simple.

Dear Mr Ampicar. Unless you haven't been paying attention The buffoons' in Washington, haven't known their collective asses, from a hole in the ground, in a lot of years. They are over educated Idiots, that don't live, breathe, or exist in the real everyday world. And they're making the rules, the rest of us have to live buy! I say get off your collective asses, take off your $1000.00 Armani Suit, roll up you sleeves, and do a little honest work, and when you figure out how many of your ignorant assed, Rules and Laws that don't work in the real world. Maybe you'll understand why the average man thinks you're stupid and an Idiot. And why the founding fathers said "You go to Washington for 2 years, and then go back, and be a productive member of society." NOT A CAREER POLITICION!!! These Idiots have created more bureaucratic bullshit, and corruption, and then shoved it down the American Public's throat so hard it's a wonder we all haven't gagged. (look at the world today We're gagging) There are somethings we need to do to help preserve the planet I get that. A well tuned engine is not a polluter, a untuned or malfunctioning engine is. The reason this thing of all the emission crap got started in the first place, was back in the 60's and 70's, you had to keep your car in tune, points, plugs, condensor, set the timing etc. and with more, and more people getting city jobs. They got away from working on their own cars. So the cars and emissions suffered. So what did the Buffoons do??? They forced "emission standards" on us. The trouble was, the systems most usually caused the car to run worse, pollute worse, and use more gas. As the technology had not advanced enough to achieve the results they wanted. And so the results were lousy. So instead of letting technology catch up. The bureaucratic ******** decided, we'll just throw tighter regulations at them. Remember cars of the 80's that wouldn't run 85 MPH flat out, because they were so detuned, and restricted, they got 11 or 12 mpg. Remember in the 80's how many GM products burnt huge spots in the grass because of an overheated catalytic converter, or even worse burnt the damn car to the ground. I saw this personally happen more then once. Oh regulations as so great!!!! And so good for the environment. How about all the toxic emissions put off by cars burning to the ground??? It has taken over 50 years for technology to get to a point where we now have very clean, huge horsepower engines, with emission systems. They're cleaner then ever before. BUT the cars we are discussing are are beloved Jags, and they were built in the mid 70's , 80's and the 90's. When the emissions systems were absolute crap, and literally choking the **** out of our cars, and destroying engines. Remember the Chrysler lean burn system. Chrysler doesn't want to! As they destroyed a mess of engines with that junk. Every Manufacture struggled against emission requirements, until the technology finally caught up. So I'm siding with Gunner as I have been there done that, and I've got several dirty T shirts to prove it. As My father would say you talk like a man with a paper butt hole.

Thats the best argument you have to your committing a felony? "You're a tree hugger". Wow, what a compelling and intelligent response..

Yup. Typical Parlor argument. Engineers. Doctors, anyone educated is a liberal part of some Q conspiracy. Your opinions are better than inconvenient facts.

Gunner the big talker. Yeah, I did serve for over 10 years so stuff it. Thats why, unlike yourself. I respect the laws of the nation even if I disagree with them. I recognize that we are called to make sacrifices for our fellow citizens and country rather than doing whatever you want or following only the laws you like.

Guess what. You post to a public forum about your law breaking, you will get comments that you might not like. Not everyone is a fellow Q follower. So toughen up snowflake, if you can't take someone calling you out for breaking the law, stick to making your postings on Parlor.

Bottom line. You are breaking the law. Do the crime, pay the time.

I had a big response all typed out for you but I've decided not to waste any more of my time on you. Can't argue with stupid. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
You might want to visit some other performance oriented automotive forums tho and find out how quick you and people like you are shut down and run off for opening your mouth and telling them what they can or can't do to their engines and that they're going to jail for it. That's almost comical if it weren't so pathetic.
You have a nice day now.

Just to add to what 89Jacobra said. If you brought a diesel truck from 04 to like 09, you bought a piece of junk constantly breaking down because of emissions. To the tune of like $10,000 a pop for egr coolers. Sometimes 2 or 3 a year. It forced CAT out. Warranty work was thru the roof. It's why I bought an 03 Peterbilt with the 6nz CAT. The last of pre emission era engines. This engine would go 2,000,000 miles without being cracked open. Today's trucks can't go 100,000 without a major breakdown. These are cold hard facts attestingbto the damage caused by emissions.
To this day the number one cause of break downs in big trucks is emissions. Cars are no different and Euro cars are even worse. But they don't have the freedom to even speak out against it there.
The EPA and it's ridiculous emissions mandates have singlehandedly pushed this country into economic disaster. It's forced manufacturing jobs out, made us dependant on foreign oil when we have our own but aren't allowed to drill for it, and it's crushed the automakers into bankruptcy.
Saw a good example of the idiocy the other day concerning emissions and the push for electric cars(that will never fly here, btw). A charging station for these vehicles powered by a big diesel engine billowing black smoke. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
This an example of a federal agency left to run unchecked for way too many years and fueled by the doomsday treehuggin' lefties. Trump had enough sense to put a tight leash on them and started undoing the damage caused by decades of stupidity.

I'm getting very tired of the emissions in this thread.

If you want to have a sensible, informed discussion and respect opposing points of view, that's perfectly acceptable. If you want to be an offensive bigot, that's not acceptable and won't be continuing in this thread or on this forum.

Everyone had better be interested in this opinion because the next member who disregards it will be history.

Well a search has shown any discussion on this subject is quickly interrupted with an interjection of false information and unfounded threats of jail.
I've suggested these people stay out of these types of performance threads.
Perhaps they could start their own threads advocating the engine damaging EPA compliant systems in favor of clean air instead of interrupting those of us looking to improve performance and engine longetivity. Leave it up to each member which side of the fence they wish to participate in. One or the other. Not both.
Problem solved.
I started this thread looking for info on O2 simulators for a cat delete not an EPA law review or threats of jail. The latter is of no interest to me and not relevant to the subject of the thread.
It's gotten to the point of false information being given by some and accepted as fact by others with issues concerning heat, carbon, detonation(pinging), and oil leaks, etc.
