Does a 2003 VDP XJ8 have OBD 2, same as lincoln?

It has the 'standard' code set plus many Jaguar specific codes, same as Lincoln has Ford specific code sets. The P0000 through P0999 are the same as they are an automotive industry standard.

 

OBD II (as opposed to OBD I) was supposed to be mandatory in all cars 1996 and thereafter. This not only defined the basic codes as described above, but also the style and placement of the data connector under the dash.
