OBD-II Port Malfunction
I have a check engine light, and the obd-ii port doesn't work, with 3 obd-ii readers. Is the port bad? Or is it like a special Jaguar only obd-ii? it fits but doesn't work... and the obd-ii plug is above near the gas pedal right? is that the only one??
Correct on the location.
There were quite some readers in the past not working, but I think most of that has settled.
Not sure if you use Bluetooth or a fixed one, but if you use a bluetooth version, you should see the Bluetooth unit trying to connect to your phone.
There is also a LED on the Bluetooth unit, confirming power on the plug.
Although nothing is impossible, I can hardly see how the plug should stop working, and I don't think there is a separate fuse for it, but that is easy to check.
EDIT: I read in an other thread that an I-phone and Android phones need different Bluetooth devices.
Again, not sure what you are using ...

If he's not using a bluetooth one, but regular readers, then I'd certainly look elsewhere for either a fuse (I'm not sure which one, sorry), or then possibly a malfunction somewhere. I've had it happen on another car before, but junked it before I sorted it out.
So last night i looked at the Vehicle Care handbook, the fuse is in right hand passenger heel board. Fuse no.10 - JAGUAR DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
