OBDII Test $06 - Module $11
Hello;
I need your help (Anyone).
I'm tying to chase down why the monitor tests on my 2002 xj8 won't run.
I hooked up my foxwell and ran the diagnostics.
No MIL lights come on, but I AM getting a fail on the TEST $06 Module $11 test.
Can anyone decipher this code and tell me what module is failing?
MODULE = $11
TEST VALUE 0359
MIN LIMIT -----
MAX LIMIT 02BF
STATUS: FAIL
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe Test 06 is EVAP system leak detected (20 thou)
I have had a heck of a time getting my monitor tests to clear. Three cleared quickly (misfire, O2 heater, fuel system). The others (o2 sensors, comprehensive) required running specific drive cycles following the directions closely. I had a gross leak in the Evap system. Found a pipe to one of the canisters hanging loose. After replacing it the EVAP system cleared. I still can't get the Catalyst to clear.

Final results
Hello;
Here are the results:
One of the codes I got was the "Purge valve stick open".
That drew my attention to the canister purge valve that was attached to the charcoal canister on the passenger side of the car.
After rebuilding the EVAP system, including all new rubber and seals, I replaced the Canister Purge valve.
Viola, the EVAP test passed.
The components test passed.
Cat still hasn't passed, but in NY, your allowed one test not to be performed.
Car now has a NEW inspection sticker good until 11/2019. (YIPPEE)
If anyone has any ??? on this, I'll be happy to answer them as I now have a very good working knowledge of the EVAP system in the car.
