Default Is this an original grenade thermostat housing?

Not sure about this.

Is it an aftermarket replacement? Does it need changed? Do I wait and change my drawers at the same time or get it over with asap?

That’s an aftermarket URO branded aluminum thermostat housing. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.
