Overheating 🥵 Help
Garage has also found that the Heater pump has a problem so they said they have bypassed it for now but will the heater pump cause engine to build up pressure and boil over
Go back to #12 and #14 and confirm these lines are correct. Then remove the cap on the fill tank and check for bubbles as the engine is running. Any good shop should be able to check for exhaust gases in the coolant and determine why the fans are not coming on.
To answer your question Redmazda, no, even if the electric water pump for the heater Is seized, it will not cause your engine to overheat.
If they replaced the blown fuse and it blew again, then chances are there’s a shorted out fan motor.
Is this a Jaguar car? Yes. Is this a complex cooling system? No! It’s no different than most other vehicles.
I'm beginning to have second thoughts about this shop..... it’s not that difficult...
