I have the check engine light on. After scanning more than once I get the P0430 code which is catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 2.

I have a couple of questions.

My search seems to point me to an O2 sensor. but which sensor is it? Pre cat or Post cat?

Is bank number 2 the drivers side? (left hand drive models)

You can hope it's one of them but don't be shocked if it's the cat itself!

 

+1 and yes it's the left or drivers side US market.

If it is the cat any recommendation for purchasing a reasonable priced one? At the dealer they really get your money.
