Update
motorcarman just posted the TSBs in the General Help section of the Forum (tsb 910):
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/g...-rattle-57885/

These TSBs are helpful, but did not give the information that we wanted about removing these panels.

So I posted a reply in that thread, asking about what to use to gentle pry off the trim panels on the dashboard.
I am hopeful that one of the posters in that thread will provide this information.

Jim -- Thanks.

I have driven the car everyday. I even risked it out to the country and back over the weekend --- no problems ???

It is a maddening problem

Hi Yeldogt
Here is motorcarman reply in the general tech section thread:

Go to a windscreen/windshield shop and get some plastic pry sticks. They are like THICK popsicle sticks and have rounded tapered and wedge ends (opposite). I use these ALL THE TIME.

I thanked Bob in the other thread. motorcarman is sure a great contributor to the forum.

I've just had an almost exact same issue as the OP. I'm trialing a potential fix with another brake switch.
Same Er on the climate pack. I'm assuming the scrolling "problems" are caused by my scanner, interrupting the can-bus. It's the one that kept coming back. If its your throttle, can you change it round for a known good one?

Default Instrument Cluster

I've had my instrument cluster out a few times. In fact, I replaced the wood panel with a used one that looked better. Anyway, I just reach in and grab the "lips" in the two outer gauge holes and pull it off. There are four clips (I think) holding it to the plastic instru cluster. Just make sure they are placed correctly when you put it back on. Oh yeah, move the steering wheel all the way down and prepare for when it pops off. Under that, there are four philips screws in deep "tunnels" around the cluster. Just make sure you don't drop them while removing. If you have a magnetic screw driver it helps. Then there are two fairly large plug connectors at the bottom that have a sort of clip hold down that swings over and frees them. Then you just manoever it out. Oh yeah, the two round pods with the trip computer reset and fog lamps pop off and unplug after the veneer is off. It's really not as hard as it looks.
