Default P1340 p1341

Hi
A few days ago a friend gave me a BlueTooth ELM327 OBDII tester, I installed several programs on my phone and I scanned the machine for errors. I found stored fault codes P1340 and 1341, after some investigation I found that it is camshaft sensor.
Today I tried to fix this problem clean the sensor, check out the distribution of cars. Everything is OK. I must say that the car was been tested on a Work shop with another tester, same error result. I must check the cables from the probe connector to ECM. The CMPS has 2.3k and work when i move an iron in front of him.
The car runs good so i do not know what to do. Any idea?
Now that i know about this error i want to fix it.

Hi
Because in the last two days rain ,i can`t fix the problem but i study the diagram and found that the sensor wire goes directly to the ECM on pin 17 and 18 on EM83 connector.
I check the continuity, but missing. The wire from the sensor goes to a black box near to the fuel evaporator, tomorrow i will open the box to check what happens with the wire, maybe a loss connection. I do not know how this box look inside.
I will post as soon i have more information about this problem. The car drive OK.

We haven't seen Gabriel on this forum for quite a few years. Check the wires to and from the sensor, as he did; clean the area around the sensor -- oil running from cam cover leaks can short out the sensor intermittently (constant issue on the front bank sensor on a Maxima). If you don't have a wiring diagram, look in the stickies.

Maybe you can find him in the local phone registry.

Hi
Last year I start to refurbish my XJR
I remove the engine and change the exhaust manifold on driver side.
I welded the front because there was rust right in the part where the front frame attaches.Today I also changed the gaskets on the rocker cover because I had some oil leaks, while working on the car I noticed a hose coming out from under the supercharger and it was attached to an electric cable with a Tire Up.I noticed that when the car is started, there is a more pronounced noise from the supercharger, when I plug it with my finger, the noise disappears, which is why I plugged that hose with a screw. The problem is that when the hose is clogged, the car starts much harder and I get other error codes such as P0340 P0341, P1340 and P1341.Tomorrow I will remove that screw, I will check once more what error codes remain.I mention that I have not installed a MAP sensor on the car.How should that hose stay?blocked or free?Tomorrow I will also check the installation of the car to make sure I don't have a broken wire.I'll be back with news tomorrow. Now I have 3 weeks to take care of the car and paint it completely. The interior is refurbished, the only thing left is to paint the car and before that to get rid of the rust.

Hi

I have news for today. I discovered the problem for the error codes appearing on the camshaft sensors, the strange thing is that both plugs were connected by soldering to the car's installation. I have one more error with an oxygen sensor problem that I will investigate tomorrow, the error is P1647
as for the hose coming from under the supercharger, it was blocked with a screw

Hose under the sc? Unless it is waterhose or pcv system hose/pipe it is fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose.

It is not from SC. Looks that is commping under and as I read the cars after 2001 have a MAP sensor. The hose goes there.
