well its time to removed the wheels, clean and polish and get rid of all the break dust and perform a general inspection. wheels are polished aluminum - what color do you think i should paint the calipers or should i polish them too?

 

I think it's a personal preference. The XJ8 is a luxury sedan so IMO better to err on the side of conservatism. I think black or silver calipers are more tasteful than yellow or bright blue on a XJ8.

 

I think it completely depends on the overall look of the car. Post up some pictures, I would love to see your car.

 

I did a gloss black on mine. The red is a little 'in your face' for me.

 

I'm with H2o, I use black high heat crinkle finish engine paint from a can...

 

what about British racing green? dont even know if that is available in high heat paint.....
