Passenger side of Hood want open when pulling latch; the driver pops open like normal but somehow passg want pop open. Any remedies for this; I thought maybe I can get somebody to pull the latch and I try to pry open that side simultaneously. Or any other remedies? I tried pulling open by myself after opening driver side but that didn't work.

cable from release handle goes to left latch first then second cable goes from it to right side sounds like the right cable is broken,out of adjustment.You could try to lift left side enough to get your hand in and pull on cable to right side??? might work. or go from underneath but thats a long way up and hard to reach. sorry no quick fix I can think of.

ok, thanks. Tried lifting the left side of hood to try and see where to pull cable to right side but can't reach or see any cable to right side. Left side will barely prior up with the right side being stuck. Anybody else got any suggestions? As far as trying the 2nd suggestion, "or go from underneath but thats a long way up and hard to reach." Has anybody ever been able to do this underneath while on ramps?

It's been covered many times around here. The procedure I used when this happened to me is post #52 - disconnect battery, remove wheel, pop off inner cover, drill hole around 10:30ish o'clock, insert long screwdriver in hole about parallel to the ground, and fish around until you push the latch back towards the firewall 'till it pops open.

There's better detail in the thread. Follow #52 to a tee and you'll be successful.
