Might be worth asking a Mod to split the thread up... Some great work done there by DC, would be a shame for it to get lost because the thread title doesn't match

Maybe the X308 needs the following sub-forums;
  • No-Start
  • Tensioner Failures
  • Transmission Failures
  • HVAC Failures
  • Everything Else

Don't want to jinx myself, but no issues yet! I've fixed a lot of broken bumpers/spoilers in the past 15 years on other peoples cars I have lowered/spoiled but luckily never my own. My average height of my last 8 cars was 3.6" static, so at 4.25-4.5" for the just spoiler on the XJ depending where i'm parked is well within my comfort level.
Just like I told an XKR owner last month who kissed a curb and mashed his oil cooler.....when you think your close, STOP, get out and check how close you are and go from there, its cheaper than having me fix it everytime you park. If your to proud to check, buy a truck so I can work on projects I enjoy

If memory serves me correct, I believe he said it’s a lip spoiler for a late 60’s Camaro.

do you know where to get ones like the one in the photos i cant seem to find any. The only ones i can find all have the struts attaching from behind the spoiler. Honestly any help is aprechiated. im up for experimenting just getting parts together at the moment for when i start customising/working on the project.
