Got some better pics with my 16th set of wheels on this car

That is with 25mm front and 20mm rear spacing.

I might like those best of all. You have been long overdue for some new wheels. Can you take a picture at driving height?

What's the deal with the Ford Edge?

That's my wife's car. I didn't intend to post those. It has 22" Audi A8L TSW Replica wheels, 3DCarbon body kit and H&R springs.

Nice look. Do you have any problems with tire clearance? We're trying to put 18" wheels on my wife's 06 X type but are running into front tire clearance problems. we've tried 225/40X18's but no luck. we're using adapters for the bolt pattern and I think that's where the problem lies. Yours looks great though.

Did you have to do any custom fabrication in order for the side vents to fit? I'd like to put a pair on my 2006 x-type but it tells me they are not compatible.

Can you tell me how to go about fitting 19 inch rims on my 2006 X type and I'm wondering if you had any problems develop over time after fitting yours.

It look nice, but from the pictures it look like you can't turn the wheels, and both front and rear would scrap the wheel wells over the bumps.

bagged and tagged looks great

for tire size questions 225/40/18 rub all around if everyday driver, but will be ok if you mind your driving habits. mainly bumps in turns rolling fender lips-tire damage, chip paint(no rust tho), but they will wear thru the inner plastic fender wells eventually.

225/40/18 is the stock size for the different sport wheels from the factory. I had 18" Arubas from the factory and they never rubbed. Now if you are running an aftermarket wheel with an incorrect offset or width, that is a different animal.
