Good evening.
I have just purchased a 98 XJ Sport (V8 x308) I believe it may have a heater matrix leak.
Why ? Smell / misted windows when driven and the parked up and a few drips in the glove box. Heater work fine and blows hard and hot once up to temp.
Having replaced a few heater matrix in other cars, it would seem the obvious fault. But thought I would ask those with better knowledge on Jaguars.

Ok, well, finding a direct schematic to show position and any service work must be a secret for the heater matrix. Or it could be a foreboding sign?

But I did find a PDF coolant/heater line layout from the octopus I attached. I would guess there is most likely a Norma connector to the unit which may be the leak? Hope this helps. I didn't find one for '98 MY, I believe the '01 isn't different.
