Had a "Check rear lights" message two days ago. Noticed that my brake lights stayed on when ignition was off and then started having problems with locking functions.

When I checked on the security module, I noticed that a thin layer of water somehow leaked into the trunk. The security module's circuit board was damp and corrosion began.

So I'm looking for a used security module to replace it. No junk yards around here seem to have parts fitting my 2001 XJ8.

My specific parts number is LNG2600HB.
Serial number B008432.

I can't find any used parts on line for this specific number. I did find security modules with the following: LNC2600HE, LNC2600HD, LNC2600HB.

Would these work?
