So I have to replace the bypass hose. ..it's leaking a little and is very swollen. Needless to say I need to drain the radiator. .looking at pictures it appears it's on the side facing the engine on the driver side. .am I correct? ?

 

correct, it will be a plastic plug in that bottom corner, US driver's side, facing engine. it might have a tab/wing thing sticking out, you don't want to use that to unthread it as it will probably break off
