Quick update!

I had some kind of layer shift likely because of a problem i found with my model but i plastic welded it

Currently printing the "box" that will enclose the exposed guts.


this will be my test bed to measure out and find anything I want to modify for my use and adjust as i finish the base models.

i want to add a udb port to the left and right of the display one to the headunit (by the driver) and the other for passenger that will charge.

i will also adjust the mounting surfaces to get everything to mount up nicely and fit as well as i can get it with the dash.

 

Been awhile since I updated. The model still needs work.

But it had changed a good bit:





The model still needs adjustment but I have put the guts of a pioneer 160bt in it and it is working.

My rear speakers are not putting out audio but I am guessing that is a wiring issue from whoever hacked out the factory radio and amp and I will have to chase the issue down
the left usb port goes to the back of the headunit for android auto
the right is going to a USB fast charger

I got a little burned out working on this project and it has been workable so I moved onto some othe projects
