Ok today on warm day(60°FH) engine @ operating temp. restart I got a momentary "Restricted Performance" (no rough idle, stumble like before)accompanied by codes P0300 & P1316, I'm seeing fuel pressure issue, it cleared in sub 1 minute. So I'm still going w/ the fuel filter firstly w/ oil & tire rotation(waiting for my appt. to open). Then if it resurfaces, the fuel pump.

Update :
The restricted performance episodes became constant on every 1st drive from cold start, but none today since fuel filter install.

Day 2 & the problem appears solved & the new fuel filter has it revving a bit higher than before on initial/cold start. Not sure if that indicates the previous FF was severely plugged or not.

Interesting, hopefully it was the fuel filter that was the cause, will be curious to know if the problem reoccurs or not.

It wasn't the original FF but it was very dirty indicating a long tenure. The momentary restricted performance episodes had become an everyday occurrence & now on day 3 they've ceased, so we shall see said the blind man lol.
