re-post cabin filter
I don't mean to contradict a current tech as I haven't been a tech and service director for a few years, but the few little filters under the windshield cowl I believe are screens to keep larger debris out. There is a cabin air filter (part no JLM20670, non servicable item) that is part of the heater/cooler unit on the X308 series. The part used to retail for $226 about 6 years ago. The system has to be purged of refrigerant and I believe it was 6.5 hours according to guide. The whole unit has to be removed to access the filter. I remember replacing about 4 of these filters over the course of 3 years.
