Excellent advice to a question I shouldn't have had to ask because I should have just done that. 3.47mm spacer is in the mail, I also picked up what should be a very rebuildable carrier with hub in it for a pretty reasonable price, really for the hub and spacers if I find my original is damaged. If not, then I've got an other spare part I can refurbish and sell down the road if I need to I guess.
