Default Rear camera mount

I updated the head unit in my Jag so I could have wireless CarPlay, SiriusXM, and a backup camera. I removed the back seat and loosened the center console so I could lift it enough to run wires under the carpet and into the trunk. I originally bought a license plate frame that was designed to hold the camera, but very quickly decided that it looked too tacky and aftermarket-y for my taste. My nephew has a 3D printer and design software, so he designed and printed a camera bracket that I attached to the bottom side of the trunk button trim. It looks MUCH better, and I'm really happy with it. I might paint it body color someday, I haven't decided yet. For now it's going to be satin black. Also, after a lot of trial and error as to the location of the SiriusXM antenna, I ended up putting it on top of the third brake light. It's not quite as subtle as I want, but much better than sticking it to the roof! Anyway, here are a few pictures of the project:

Can 3D print one and sell it to me? I need that for a similar backup camera project.

I don't think he's too interested in printing them for sale, sorry. This was kind of a one-off favor.

You can share the file to a 3d printing company like Shapeways.com and then other people can order a "copy" of it. Shapeways prints and ships it. There's lots of custom or discontinued car parts on there that hobbyists have created and shared, mostly small plastic clips, knobs and so forth. The creator usually gets a small cut.

That's neat that.

I seem to have more problem judging the front corners though.

That's a wonderful job - looks like it came from the factory like that!

I would like to have a backup camera but have never quite resolved the issue of appearance,
both at the rear and in the cabin. The one I considered closest to acceptable used the mirror
as the monitor with a wireless camera. It was small but still very noticeable.
