I picked up a rear console for from XJ8, from Ebay. The part came off a 98 VDP.


If the rear floor pre-drilled for this console?


If not, would I do damage starting hole for self tapping sheet metal screw?

I will not call it pre-drilled, what you have is 2 brackets welded to the floor pan and you use 2 screws and U shaped spring clip going through those brackets so there is no drilling of the floor pan
