Rear subframe shim question..i'm confused
Hi All,
Does someone know if shims nr.10 and 11 in the diagram are allways needed ?
I've mounted everything back together and without those shims everything seems to fit properly , if i would place a shim in the nr.10 position i would have to much play
where the nr.3 shim is located...
i'm confused...
Thanks for your help!

Hi popeye68,
I'm trying to recall - do the cupped sides of those spacers fit over bushings in the wishbone tie (part 6 in the diagram)? And if so, do I recall that it is important that the flatted edge be oriented as shown in the parts diagram or they will not seat properly?
I don't know if those questions are helpful at all, but I do think that if things are not fitting together properly with those spacers included, then something is out of sequence. The spacers should help reduce the play between the wishbone, wishbone tie and pendulum to a minimum.
Cheers,
Don
