Default Removing Coolant Overflow Line Fittings?

I've read other posts that say the special tool should be clipped on one of the lines. Mine is MIA.

Any Idea what else will work?

JTIS lists these tools (2 ea. - 2 different sizes) as E36393 and E36394 , but I have removed these fittings by sqeezing the outer ring with a pair of pliers and then "rocking" the fitting to pop the retainer tangs over the ridge on the mating part - not an easy thing but you can get it if you're patient. These tools are available at most auto parts stores (without Jaguar #'s). They're plastic and relatively inexpensive.

I use a small standard pocket screwdriver, gently pry one side loose then the other

The Pocket Screwdriver Method worked like a charm!
