Hello everyone! Tonight I had an idea to replace my stock XJ8 grille with a VDP grille. The question is; how could this be done? Is there a tutorial video anywhere showing how it can be done even? Thanks everyone; and have a good weekend!

 

Or would it be simpler to let my mechanic do it? ( Sorry for the double post )

 

If you look at the top of each gill insert, (about a fingers length in from the outside) there are two screws.


remove these, pull the insert forwards and up to remove.


There are four torx screws, one in each corner, remove those to remove the grill shell.


And as they say, refitting is the reversal of removal.


Should take all of 10 mins to do (unless you stop for a cup of tea!)
