OK, so the outer door handle broke. Following the directions in the JTIS, step #9 says "Slacken and remove security guard lower securing bolt and remove guard from door." I got it loose, but its bigger than the space it has to come out of. I was finally able to turn it enough to access and disconnect the linkage, but could not figure out any way that it could possibly be removed from the door. If it can be done at all, then there must be just a certain way to maneuver it and no other way will work. Anyone here done it successfully and been consciously aware enough of how you did it to be able to write a detailed description? Better yet, anybody made a video of it?
