I thought I read in a post that someone could pull a repair history based on the VIN#.
I can't locate the post. I would be interested in knowing what repairs have been made on our 1999 XJR.
Would this be only dealer repairs?

We have an oil issue and I want to see if there was work done on it before I start the troubleshooting part.

If you have the VIN run at the dealer, only dealer repairs will show up. They would have no way of knowing what an independent mechanic has done to the car.
