Replace fuel pump

My 99 XJR with 83,00 miles turns over but won't start. Mechanic, independent specializing in imports, says it needs new fuel, pumps and screens.

What do you feel should be a fair cost for parts and labor?

About $650- $900, depending on which fuel pumps he uses.
