Default Replacing/respray interior door pillar plastic

Hi all,

I’ve got a hypothetical project to do.

I’ve to respray the beige pillars on the interior to black. If not respray, then I can use a direct black replacement.

Also, the surrounding of the gearstick, head unit (whole leather piece), can that be removed with ease?

Is there a guide for the above?

If you live in the US, there is a company that will make your interior dye to match whatever color, if it’s vinyl you’ll use Color coat and if it’s leather it’s an elastomeric water based dye. If you go that route, you’ll never be able to tell it was ever sprayed and it will not change the texture or scratch or peel. Also, they’ll match your sheen as well. All for the parts your talking about are vinyl, unless it’s a VDP then those pieces are also vinyl as well, except for the arm rests. The leather dye can be rubbed on or thinned to spray in a Preval. They both dry instantly. Vinyl Pros in Marietta GA. do exact matches.

It's very simple, it took me about ten minutes at the weekend. You can find full instructions in the manual but I've attached the sections I referred to.
