Default Restricted performance - code p0353

I had a problem with my X308 previously and will be replacing the Throttle Body next week but whilst driving it yesterday the above came up with the orange light. I did the usual switch on and off and disconnected the battery. But today the same fault cam up.
I've read a lot of posts on this forum but cant seem to find the fault.
I replaced the battery, so I know it not that. I believe P0353 is ignition coil A3. I will check the connections and wires to make sure they are not bare and touching the metal.
My main concern is I am in Cardiff and need to get to London tonight with restricted performance, is it safe to drive it 200 miles.

Do not that the car has LPG system

I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Cheers as always.

switch the offending coil round with its neighbour and confirm if fault code follows it/faulty - any chance you can get a spare?
Running with a faulty coil can cause issues like melting it. But you need to know if it's the coil.

You can also damage the catalyst.

Thank you very much with your very helpful advice. Will call AA and get towed back to London, then check coil and plugs and change of need be.

Thanks again you've both been very helpful.

Cheers

I did as suggested and changed No3 coil for No 4 and came up with 0354. So replaced coil and all seems ok so far.

As I said I still need to replace the Throttle body which I will do soon.

Thanks again for all your advice much appreciated.

Cheers.
