Hi, I have a friend who has an XJ 308 sovereign with V8 3.2 liter engine, the issue is that sometimes the vehicle enters safe mode giving the message of limited power and observe the meter motor temperature goes down, I think may be failing the water temperature sensor. When vehicle has undergone diagnosis and shows no breakdown code. I would appreciate any help solve the problem.

Changing the sensor is a good idea, but I think the risk of cracking the outlet pipe is high. I think a new outlet pipe may include the sensor.
