Ride Height after Springs Installed
Hi guys. I have a question about ride height after removing and installing springs. I just did a refresh on my 99 XJR's front suspension. New control arm bushings, ball joints, shock bushings, tie rod ends, subframe mounts and motor mounts. I expected the ride height to be a little higher but the front wheels are about 1" further from the fender. I followed the shop manual to the letter, marked the control arm bolts and positions and torqued them with the full weight of the car. I even marked the spring position although the shop manual did not mention this and made sure it was fully seated. The springs were off the car for 3 weeks and I've read it can take 500 miles for them to settle, I've only done about 10.
Just seeing if this is normal and if anybody else has had experience with this. I just can't find anything I missed and after all that work I hate to tear it down again. Thanks guys!

Not sure what specs you are using to check ride height, factory specs for a North America Spec (NAS) XJR are 15.27" front 14.64" rear, with a full tank of gas, measured from the center of the wheel vertically to the apex of the wheel arch. (15.31" front/15.03" rear with just 2 gals of gas).
What measurements are you seeing?
