Default Self congratulatory thread.

Here I am to beat my own drum, as it were. I took a couple weeks off to fix stuff around the house, including cars.
On the XJR, here's the list.

1. Replaced both fuel pumps and filter.
2. Fixed the ABS.
3. Fixed the headlight dimming issue.
4. Fixed the airbag light problem.
5. Figured out an obscure problem where the LEDs for the seat heaters didn't work when the headlights were on.
6. Swapped out the Bluetooth from my XJ8 to the XJR.
7. Changed the diff oil and confirmed the vent is operational.
8. Tightened the lovely aftermarket shifter knob.

I could add my list for the house and yard work, but I don't think you'd care!

Go you Rob, good job.

No doubt you had a beer with a smile on your face once completed?

As we speak! I actually find myself looking at the dash while driving, trying to figure out what's wrong. It's the missing airbag light, of course!

This thread should come with a WARNING - DANGEROUS POST at the top. I'm so pleased my wife doesn't read the forum posts!
Well done on the car stuff.

Honey, if you're reading this,I also trimmed the trees, built a brick wall around the garden, cleaned the garage, unplugged the bath drain, replaced the hall light, fixed the lights at the end of the driveway, everything on the honeydew list...................

Am I safe now?

Lots of awesome work

I'm curious about the Bluetooth. What kind of system is it?

It's a Motorola T605. Here's the document on it, and there's many threads on how to do it.

Please explain, what was wrong. It is hard to believe both pumps died.
If you have 2 fuel pumps, you probably have a diesel engine!

The supercharged cars have two fuel pumps. One died, and I changed both at the same time.
