Shock/Dampener Bushing Replacement
Thanks to a fabulous thread by Jim Lombardi, I was able to locate the part numbers for the lower bushings for my CATS Adaptive Sport shocks:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-shocks-56710/
However, when I called Motorcars LTD in Houston, they were insistent that MND2153AA was only for the XJ8 and would not fit my XJR. I explained that there was no difference, according the Jag parts catalog.
In the end, it pays to consult this forum, it pays to research on behalf of your tech, and it pays to get your hands dirty from time to time. Motorcars LTD suggested we would have to purchase new sports adaptive CATS shocks...$800 instead of rubber bits costing USD $12.
Thanks again, Jim!
