Source for Sun Roof Cables

Source for Sun Roof Cables
So I hear a THUNK as my sunroof is just about closed and a sunroof tech says it is most likely the cables. He said they are not made any more. I check around and, yes indeed, HNA1752AA and HNA1753AA are out of stock, back ordered or just not available.
Has anyone found a source for cables or a way to replace them?
All ideas welcomed!
