Default spark.. no injector pulse.

1998 Xj8.

sat all winter, charged the batt, car won't start.

Has fuel, has fuel pressure, has spark, noid light shows no injector pulse.

Only code is 1111.

Ran perfect when parked.

Checked all related fuses and rotated the relays.

Of Course I suspect crank senor, but will I get spark w/o crank siganl or is that driven from cam timing?

What is the 'noid' light? Is this a typo? P1111 is normal code - means that all OBD engine cycle tests have passed. This goes to P1000 if you reset codes with the reader, and returns to P1111 once the car has been driven and cycled for a few (maybe 50) miles.

The following is based upon the wiring diagram for your vehicle from Captain Jaguars Cat House: http://captainjaguarscathouse.com/El...ec%20Guide.pdf and figure and page references are to this document.

Fuel injectors get power from the Fuel Injection Relay, 2nd from right, shown in attached pic (figure 4.4, bottom left).

The relay passes power to the injectors from the Engine Management Fuse Box (shown in 2nd pic and on page 29, right center) - fuse # 5, 10A.

This fuse gets power directly from the High Power Protection Module, so if there's no power to this fuse, you'd have a lot of other problems too. Similarly, the relay gets its power from the switched power circuit, so no power here would imply many other issues too.

So, check the fuse, then check for power at pin 3 on the relay (input) and on pin 5 of the relay with key in run position (brown wire, power output to all injectors - you can measure this at pin 2, brown wire, of each injector connector).

There is a junction point (PIS2) in the brown wire, where the single wire from the relay splits into eight wires, one to each injector... this could be a failure point - you can measure resistance from pin 5 on the relay connector to pin 2 on each injector connector - should be very low Ohms (no more than 1 or 2) between these points or the junction is suspect.

If you are able to trace 12V all the way to pin 2 (brown wire) on the injectors, then the problem is in the ECM or input signals to the ECM.

One other issue, though: if there is a high resistance connection, somewhere between the fuse and the injector connectors, you might see 12V there with a multimeter, but when the ECM pulls an individual injector's pin 1 to ground (which should cause the injector to pass fuel briefly) this high resistance will cause that 12V to pull down also. To determine this, you need to unplug an injector, use a jumper wire to connect pin 2 of the connector to pin 2 of the injector, and use a jumper from pin one of the injector (not the connector), briefly, to ground. 12V on the connector's pin 2 should stay there, not being pulled down to ground also. If it DOES get pulled to ground, there is a high resistance connection somewhere in the circuit - I'd suspect the junction in the brown wire, or burned contacts in the relay or relay socket.

Hope I haven't inundated you with info... feel free to ask questions.

Good luck!

Except for your comment about the injector I would have suspected that you have lost compression due to cylinder wash after sitting a long time. Your engine is subject to that due to the designed weak ring pressure on the plated cylinder bores and an overly aggressive fuel map for starting. Search "cylinder wash" for lots of discussions on the subject.
