Have you driven the car yet? It's going to take moderate braking during at least a ten mile drive to start bedding the pads in, and the pedal will soft until then.

there factory rotors that you got someone to drill them and slot them?

ive also had.. when there is a mismatch with the pads and rotors.. like in your case.. it needed the matching factory pads.. for a good feel... hope the setting in works.
