Sponge Feeling

hi,

i have a 2000 xjr with 67000 miles on it and started to get a bad brake noise so i desided tochange pads and rotors since it looked like oringal brakes. the question i have is that i have blead the brakes over and over again and there is no air in the lines. but still can not get the car to stop like it should.do i needto blead the abs/dis block? is there something that i need to do diffrent?

Have you driven the car yet? It's going to take moderate braking during at least a ten mile drive to start bedding the pads in, and the pedal will soft until then.

there factory rotors that you got someone to drill them and slot them?

i have driven the car, but not very far probly 2-3 miles. i will give it a try.

they are the orginal rotors that i turned down and drilled and sloted myself.

ive also had.. when there is a mismatch with the pads and rotors.. like in your case.. it needed the matching factory pads.. for a good feel... hope the setting in works.
