Default Squeaking Noise + Erratic behavior at cold start

My XJR is at 91,870 miles. Since acquiring this vehicle I have put on about 6,000 miles. I have changed out the primary and secondary tensioners, all belts, water pump, thermostat, all fluids and the supercharger service has also been done.

I am encountering two problems with my XJR that I am seeking some guidance on:

1) The vehicle has started to make a squeaking noise from a cold start as covered in the video below

Need some guidance on what might be causing this noise. If it is something as simple as using some WD40, I would appreciate some direction on how to get this sorted.

2) We are in FL, but the last two weeks or so have been cold here for FL standards. Last week one morning the vehicle fired right up, but the throttle felt stuck and it soon died with the engine failsafe mode. I let it sit for 5 minutes and then it fired right up. I let it warm up, it drove better, but the throttle still felt stuck from time to time. Over the weekend, I cleaned up the throttle body, the air intake and the MAF sensor. I was surprised to see the change in color in the lint free cloth used. It drove like a new car yesterday, but this morning again it fired up with a really rough idle and the engine failsafe mode came on. Hooked up the scanner and the code was P0400 EGR (I have been battling this code for a while, the EGR valve has been swapped). I reset the code and it started fine, but again the throttle feels a little stuck. I am planning on inspecting the throttle body again tonight and potentially cleaning it. I also did not do the hard reset after cleaning everything so will do that tonight. If this issue still persists, where do I focus next? Spark plugs? Is there a throttle body sensor that is potentially failing causing this?

As always, I appreciate the guidance

The noise may be one of your pulleys. You can use a length of rubber hose with one end held up to your ear to pinpoint the source of the noise

It could be one of the belts, either the accessory belt or the supercharger belt.
Try dribbling some water on the belts, one at a time, if it shuts up, replace that belt or both. Don't go too mad with the water, it wont do any harm, but you could end up all soggy.

If the noise is the same, it will be one of the tensioner/ idler bearings.

Lots of stuff could be causing the problem: bad belt (see above), bad water pump, loose power steering pump, bad bearings in alternator, supercharger-related (normal noise on a RR Sport, not familiar with noise on a Jag: but supercharged Range Rover noise is unlike yours). A mechanics stethoscope will help pinpoint the noise source. Taking the belt off for a few seconds will isolate engine from accessories. Sounds tinny like water pump or tensioner pulley, tho.

Try cleaning the EGR valve. Google search cleaning Jag EGR or use the search on the forum: from memory, I saw a thread on a super gunked up EGR causing all sorts of problems. Cleaning throttle plate and bore needs to be done a few times a year.

Keep the forum informed, please as you chase these issues.

I too think it is the water pump. But I was wrong on someone else's, it wound up being a loose power steering pump. It is tough problem solving virtually.
