Squeaky steering!!!
Okay search function not working tonight so here goes....My front end sqeaks whenever I turn the wheels. I can sit in the garage and turn the steering wheel either direction and i get sqeaks. I have replaced front shocks and I know my passenger side ball joint is bad, but where is the squeaking coming from??!! There is no grease fitting anywhere on this car! What has to be replced to get rid of that?
I'll nominate the lower steering column - Jaguar updated the design while they made the car. The later version can be found here....(a picture always helps)
Steering Column - MNE9501AD | Jaguar XJ8 X308 - XJR | Jaguar | British Parts UK
It's the part that connects to the steering rack, you might get away with lubing the universal joints and bulkhead seal.
hope this helps.

Thanks man will definitely see about greaseing all that up. This car is great just previous owner never did any maintenance. They really should have made grease fittings on this car. What is the difference on that site in the XJR and XJ8 suspension rebuild kit besides about a 100 bucks?
