Steering wheel help
Hello everyone!
im new here, and I’m and owner of a 2002 Jaguar XJR 100. I’m looking to get myself a new steering wheel, something I can make a little more personalized and I plan to keep my stock wheel manufacturer spec. What I want to know, is if the Jaguar xjr wheels from 1998-2003 are the same, or if they fit each year, or should I be looking for a 2002 year specific steering wheel? Thanks!

The differences are the air bag embossment of XJR and horizontal stitching vs a simple growler on regular XJ models. Plus the red stitch on XJR R1 models with full leather wrap vs area leather with matching stitch color and areas of wood trim. Other than that I'm sure they're direct replacements.
If your looking at if you want to personalize it more, simply go to an auto upholsterer who can probably give you some ideas and do the work.

As per HH, I think there are 2 basic designs, with or without the wood trim, and with a stitched growler or an embossed growler. The color of the leather on the wheel depends on the interior coloring, Sable, Oatmeal, Charcoal, etc., and usually matches the dash coloring.
.
I don’t know much about this but I have a 2001 xjr with a wood steering wheel and the straight stitching with the XJR stitched in. Although I didn’t see that as an option above. Do I not have a stock steering wheel?
you do have the stock steering wheel. Those pictures belong to non-R X308s
