Default stolen Jaguar

Are any of you people aware of a XJ8 - XJR ever being stolen by hot wiring and driving away? Or are the security systems and coded keys beyond tampering ? No - my car has not been stolen, and no I probably wouldn't steal yours either.

If you want to steal an XJ8/R, all you have to do is ... just kidding, it believe it would be pretty darn hard if you didn't have a key.

They're beyond almost any tampering. Hot wiring has no chance at all.

I've never heard of one being stolen. You would need to tow it.

I live in a town in Northern Australia, where the local kids think it is fun to steal cars, and I don't recall a Jag ever being stolen, which was the original reason for the post.
There's always the trunk monkey

Here, to steal you'd tow or lift it or actually just steal the keys. They're not a car often stolen, as far as I know. Insurance is surprisingly low for my STR, which will partly reflect that they're not a thief's choice (for whatever reasons).
