Don't see how physics can be ignored - with all else equal (engine, tranny, and drive ratio) the lighter car will have more acceleration... also shown in the real testing. XJR should marginally win the 0-60 with all else equal. You just can't beat physics... it won't let you! If the STR was the lighter of the two, it would win. Any differences in drag coefficients between the two cars are negligible at 60 and below.
