Hi-

I hope someone can help regarding my issue before i take it in to be looked at. Every time that i start my vehicle; it starts then the engine dies out. When i start it and rev the engine it becomes fine and runs like normal. I found some possible causes but wanted to get some professionals opinions: possible PCV valve sensor, throttle body issues? I am not sure, it was idling faster than normal when i start and get it to keep running.

to start, take the throttle body off, clean the throttle and especially the IACS, (idle air control solenoid) passage. if the valve is slow it wont control idle properly and with a dirty throttle bore it really depends on the iacs for idle control. try that first.
