Default Strange steering column and airbag issue

Yesterday I started up my XJR and the steering wheel did not automatically lower itself from the exit position like usual. I tried to do it manually but it would not budge. I stopped at my first destination, and when I got back in the car, the steering wheel lowered itself like usual, but this time, the airbag warning light came on and would not turn off. When I returned to the car after my third stop, all went back to normal.

Any ideas what this could be? Wiring to the steering column perhaps?

Thanks!

Eh, it took care of itself. waddaya know! but seriously, i'd wait for the light to stay on or the column to quit moving for good. Intermittent problems are hard to find if they don't act up enough.
