Suddenly Many XJ8 Problems

Hi all.
Just a few days ago I used Kleenair to clean my 2000 xj8 air condition system. As the engine was idling, I could hear a single clicking sound from the right hand side of the engine compartment, once every 20 sec or so, very rhythmic. A few days later, all the gauges were dead. The fuel gauge dropped to zero with its orange light on. The engine, abs, and brake lights also came on, although the brakes are working fine. Both the speedometer red and amber lights also came on. To move the car I now have to manually move from park to neutral. Then I found that I could not fill the tank. The A/C system is blowing ice-cold, but no hot air. The car still drives very smooth and sweet. A hand held as well as a laptop code reader found no DTCs. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Wow, that is a lot to happen in one time. I hope the clicking sound wasnt your secondary chain tensioner failing.
I agree though, with all of that it sounds like it is time for a pro to look at it...
....and oh, welcome to the wonderfull world of Jaguar ownership :-)

I was going to suggest a negative cable reboot, but in this circumstance you would not want to clear the codes before the shop had a look. Good luck, and you have to tell us what the problems was....
