UPDATE SOLVED

My driver side rear tail light quit working on me. Picked up the recommended sylvania 7225 from pepboys and doesnt seem to fit as well, checked the number the original one was a philips 12499ll the contacts dont line up the same. Anyone else have similar problems?

After further research looks like philips and sylvania website may be wrong for my car atleast. They both show the 12594 and 7225 respectivelively for my car which will not fit, they are both the same bulb from this chart. The philips 12499 which is what I pulled out that was working on both sides is also the 7528 osram sylvania seen from this chart. Will stop by pepboys tomorrow and ck this out.

*3/20/2009* put in a 7528 sylvania with some dielectric grease working good so far hopefully it lasts
