tires for xjr
I have been using bfg kdw for the past five years on two xjrs and like them, but know that they are only good for 15 to 20k. They do have incredible wet traction capability.
I could not get any in a reasonable time a month ago and got some goodyear eagle gt tires. Anybody have any experience with them with regard to mileage? They don't have the traction of the kdw's.

Jaguars have always loved tires. I currently have the Eagle F1 GS-D3's on two cars -- they are great in the rain. But, looks like they will only go the normal 15k or so.
I was looking at the GT's for another car -- interesting tread.

I have had goodyear eagle F1 all seasons on my XJR for a few years now, with about 14,000 miles on them they are already getting a bit low on tread.
Tirerack.com has good info on tires with treadwear warranties, I think there are some good continental tires with high customer review ratings and a 40,000 or 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.
