Default torque for oil galley plug

Searching the JTIS I can't find a recommended torque for the oil galley plug on the back of the motor or any reference to it at all. Can anyone tell me what the torque setting is supposed to be? I'm replacing the core plug seal AJ89646. It was leaking quite badly and I was shocked when I took it loose that it didn't seem to be tight at all. For a 17mm allen head I would have expected to have to summon all my strength to remove it but contrarily if it had a phillips head I think I could have turned with a screwdriver. It was that loose. Putting the new one back I don't want to damage the seal by overdoing it, but on the other hand I think maybe somebody at the factory didn't get it tight enough in the first place. Also wondering if it wouldn't hurt to use a drop of thread lock compound.

I came up with someone you can relate with for your issue, but its a bit older thread.... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...leaking-38555/

I tried digging around on site some, but oddly enough when I tried doing a search on site, the older threads didn't return. But if I did a Bing search, they came up somewhat...though the closest I could find was this tech sheet.
Though its for a X300, I didn't find anything newer and I'm not sure if that's your plug. Since its listed as a gallery screw, not a galley or a plug...it may just be a British description? You may want to PM someone like DonB, Motorcarman or the poster of that thread (if they're still an active member?) and verify this.

The oil gallery plug on my engine was also leaking badly and was almost finger tight when I removed it. It has a composite washer so the amount of torque is not really critical. In addition to a new composite washer, I also applied (blue) threadlock and just tightened the plug by feel (rather tight).

Otherwise, the "Oil gallery blanking setscrew" in the chart below, looking at the AJ16 parts diagram, appears to be a small diameter (probably M8) bolt. The torque I have marked by a blue arrow could be more appropriate but it is for a tapered thread plug.
