I was wondering if anyone had a source for touchup paint for the painted alloy wheels. My wheels have a few minor scuffs/chips and I would like to touch them up before the salt gets at them this winter. I know that the jaguar dealer sells touch up for the wheels on the new xf in a color called sparkle silver, but is that the same color as they were using eleven years ago? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Oh P.S- my car has the standard starburst wheels.

 

I saw the following on eBay. I have yet to see anything specific for Jag alloys. I'm looking as well for something for the Asteroids on a '03 XJR

I got some touch up paint from Halfords (a large car parts retailer) like the ebay item above, but it was not quite the right colour. You would think silver is silver, right?! I could not the exact colour match but I used it anyway for some damage around the edge or the rim and it worked fine protecting the wheel.

My advice would be to buy somewhere where you can go outside, put a dab on your wheel to test the colour match and then see if you want to buy it or not.
