Default Traction & Stability Control Failure when turning the ignition

Hey guys. Wanted to fire up my jag this morning, haven't done that in a while (2 weeks) , and it displays Stability Control Failuri and Traction control fail, and the battery light in the dashboards is red. The battery is a Bosch Silver new , bought a month ago. When i try turning the ignition the battery has like a 1 milisecond flash-like sound to it, and it won't run . Can anyone help me ?

Both warning messages usually indicate a low battery.
Get that thing charged and the messages will disappear.

Keep the radio code handy (if necessary) and don't worry...
The "computer" will pass through a learning & re-calibration phase on it's first start with the battery hooked up again.
(That is sometimes a surprisingly good feeling, as the car performes like new.)

You'll loose the on-board-computer data like Gas mileage, trip recorder, and you have to set the clock.

Where can i find the radio code ? I bought the car from someone and he didn't provide me with the car handbook, and that kind of sucks. Since jaguar or not such a popular car in Romania, people don't really know much about them, and that's why I entered the forum . Not even car mechanics don't know much about jags. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it a lot ! Anyway, i will have to reset the computer somehow or rewrite the software since i have a slight transmission problem, when i punch the gas, the car bumps a bit before it moves. And the jag representation from Uk told me i would have to do that. Hopefully i will get the radio code too. I would hate to be without it.

Any Jaguar dealership can provide you with the radio code.
Just keep your Vehicle Identification Number handy...

Nearly all the model specific handbooks are downloadable.
PM me if you need some links for that (some of them are on Russian sites so I'm not sure if there's a copyright violation involved, downloading it.)

Wow, sure that would be awesome, I don't know if i'm allowed to provide and e-mail or chat client adress, maybe we can keep in touch. I would really apreciatte some info, and those handbooks would really be in handy. I noticed some used mentioned something about a cd that contains all that.
